Together for Evidence-Based Drug Policy

About Me

Hi, I'm the founder of Beyond Prohibition UK, a personal campaign where I use my enjoyment of motorbike riding to raise awareness about the real harms caused by the so-called “War on Drugs.” I'm not an academic or a professional campaigner — I'm just someone who, like many others, believed the system made sense until I started asking questions.

After reading "Drug Wars" by former undercover officer Neil Woods, my perspective was completely transformed. I saw how our current drug laws aren’t just failing — they’re making things worse. That book didn’t just open my eyes, it gave me a mission: to start a conversation that too many people in law enforcement are still afraid to have.

Through Beyond Prohibition UK, I use my love of motorbikes and the open road to draw attention to the issues surrounding prohibition, policing, and drug policy. I don’t claim to have all the answers — I’m still learning every day. But what I do know is this: we can't fix a broken system by staying silent.

I want to speak directly to the people who are on the frontlines — trainee police officers, cadets, and future leaders in law enforcement and criminology. That’s why I’m offering to come and speak, completely free of charge, at universities, colleges, or police training events. Not to lecture, but to share, learn, debate, and challenge old ideas together.

If you're involved in criminology education, police training, or youth engagement, invite me to your classroom or event. Let’s have an open, honest discussion about the impact of prohibition — and what we can do differently.

Because if we want a safer, fairer society, we need to go Beyond Prohibition.
