"Drug Wars"
I can’t recommend this book enough—it offers invaluable insights and perspectives, and it’s one of the most eye-opening things I’ve ever read. For clarity, I have no affiliation with Neil Woods whatsoever: I do not know him, I have never met him, and I receive no money or benefit for recommending this. My only reason for sharing is that I believe the information in this book needs to be spread as widely as possible.

If you have Spotify, the entire book is available there as an audiobook, making it easy to listen to anytime.

Anyone’s Child: Families for Safer Drug Control amplifies the voices of those who have been directly impacted by drug policy failures and are now calling for the legal control and regulation of the drug market.

Recommended Watch: The Business of Drugs (Netflix)
If you have Netflix, I highly recommend watching The Business of Drugs. This powerful documentary series explores how different illegal drugs are produced, trafficked, and sold around the world — and the human, social, and economic costs behind the trade. Hosted by a former CIA analyst, it takes an in-depth look at the global drug market and challenges common assumptions about prohibition and policy. It’s essential viewing for anyone interested in understanding the realities of drug economics and why current laws often do more harm than good.
